• A single clearly-marked sponsor slot in The Respawn, our weekly newsletter.
• Clearly-labelled sponsored content, published outside the news feed, marked as sponsored in the headline, the byline and the URL, and excluded from our news sitemap.

What we do not sell — at any price

• Paid links inside editorial articles, and paid link insertions into existing articles.
• Guest posts with embedded commercial links.
• Coverage, review scores, favourable framing, or the removal of an unfavourable article.
• Anything that would make it unclear to a reader whether they are reading editorial or an advert.

These are not negotiating positions. If your email is about buying a link, you can save the follow-up.

How editorial and advertising are separated

Advertisers have no visibility of, or influence over, editorial planning, and see nothing before publication. Being an advertiser earns no protection from coverage — including critical coverage. This is set out in our ethics policy and it applies without exception.
