CS2: Eternal Fire Rebuild Five-Man Roster, MOUZ NXT Hand Nikodeon the IGL Role

Eternal Fire have finished rebuilding their starting five, and a teenager two tiers down the MOUZ pyramid just got handed a headset. Both moves landed in the same week of Counter-Strike 2 transfer business, confirmed directly by the organisations involved.

The Turkish org signed Caner “soulfly” Kesici from Aurora to replace Alexander “br0” Bro and acquired Samet “jottAAA” Köklü on a permanent basis following his loan spell. Liquipedia’s transaction log for Aurora Gaming independently records the same date and terms for both departures.

br0’s Eight-Match Eternal Fire Stint Ends

br0 didn’t get much time to settle in. The moves restore Eternal Fire to a five-player roster after br0 was benched earlier, with the Danish player having featured in just eight matches for the team during his brief stint. He arrived at the org only in early July.

Soulfly steps in from the opposite direction of Turkish Counter-Strike’s revolving door. He had been on Aurora’s bench since July 2 after spending six months in the starting lineup, averaging a 1.01 rating in supportive roles and helping the team finish second at ESL Pro League Season 23 and reach the semi-finals of the IEM Cologne Major. He is 22.

jottAAA’s Loan Becomes a Full Return

The jottAAA side of the swap has been running longer. jottAAA initially returned to Eternal Fire on loan from Aurora in February, rejoining the organisation he had played in for years, and with the transfer now completed, he has ended his loan spell and officially joined the team permanently. Liquipedia’s roster history for Aurora places the loan’s start on February 2 and the permanent transfer on August 23, matching the club’s own timeline.

The reshuffle leaves Eternal Fire with a lineup built around two players who know the org’s system already, XANTARES and Wicadia among them, plus a returning veteran in jottAAA and a fresh signing in soulfly. It’s the kind of turnover that has defined the Turkish scene’s top team for much of the year: sign, bench, loan, repeat.

MOUZ NXT Bench opdust, Trust a 17-Year-Old to Call

Two tiers below the top of the CS2 pyramid, MOUZ’s academy side made its own change. MOUZ NXT swapped Nikolai “Nikodeon” Sørensen into the IGL role and benched Tiago “opdust” Simão, with the team set to trial options for its fifth player in the coming weeks.

Nikodeon is 17 and joined MOUZ NXT on July 24, roughly a month before taking on the calling duties. He was signed alongside a promise from MOUZ’s academy staff to keep testing young talent ahead of graduation to the senior roster, the same pipeline that produced xelex and torzsi.

Both moves land just after the Esports World Cup wrapped in Paris, a period when second-tier orgs typically finalise roster tweaks before the next Regional Standings cycle. Eternal Fire’s five now heads into competition intact for the first time since br0’s arrival in July, while MOUZ NXT will spend the coming weeks searching for a fifth to complete Nikodeon’s new-look lineup.
