Dataminers combing through World of Warcraft’s newest PTR build have pulled the first concrete map data for Patch 12.1.5’s headline additions: the Labyrinth of Kindo’jan and the single-boss raid The Unbinding of Kith’ix. MMO-Champion’s breakdown of PTR build 69594 lists The Labyrinth of Kindo’Jan with Directory 3043 as a Scenario type, and The Unbinding of Kith’ix with Directory 3095 as a Raid type, alongside sub-zones such as the Chamber of Rites inside the Labyrinth and areas like Labyrinth, The Reliquary.

The build also confirms how big the raid will scale: the listings show The Unbinding of Kith’ix supporting 10 and 25 players in unspecified modes, 30 players in Heroic, Looking For Raid and Normal, each with a 2-second lockout. A separate entry pins Mythic at 25 players under a Mythic, Flexible Raiding difficulty tagged to the Map: The Unbinding of Kith’ix, matching the flexible-roster format Blizzard has used for other Midnight raids.

Raiders are already picking apart what a one-boss lockout means for weekly loot pacing:

Kindo’jan: An Amani Tomb Turned Mega-Delve

Blizzard’s own patch notes frame Kindo’jan as the game’s first Labyrinth, a new format sitting above standard Delves. The official description, carried by Icy Veins, calls it a place where players will “love Delves and are looking for a deeper adventure” can tackle “sprawling, mega-dungeon-like experiences designed to be conquered on your terms, with dedicated progression systems, powerful unlocks, and rewards that reflect the scale of the challenge”, playable in one long session or in pieces over time.

The lore hook is a funeral complex that has sat sealed for generations. Blizzard Watch summarised the setting as an ancient Amani funeral complex where players will fight off looters and Vilebranch, as well as spirits who’ve risen to defend the tomb’s relics. Datamined quest text from build 69594 fills in the skirmishes players will run into, including objectives tied to a group called Vile Intruders, tasking players to “Fight back the Vilebranch trolls defiling the tomb”, and a wandering-spirit chain referenced in the build as “The Wandering,” where a fractured spirit drifts nearby, disoriented and searching for its resting place.

The Unbinding of Kith’ix Caps the Ula’tek Storyline

Narratively, the raid closes out the arc that began with the Mythic Coiled Altar and Ula’tek encounters earlier in Midnight Season 2. Blizzard’s own copy, quoted by Blizzard Watch, sets the stakes: Ula’tek’s defeat has awoken a long-slumbering terror, and players must temper an uneasy peace between Quel’thalas and Zul’Aman before making a final stand against the Amani’s ancient foe, the C’Thraxxi general Kith’ix.

Datamined quest text pinpoints exactly where that fight happens. Build 69594 flags a quest reading “The seal binding Kith’ix beneath the Tomb of Ula’tek grows weak. Fight alongside Lady Liadrin and banish his darkness once and for all”, confirming Liadrin as the raid’s companion NPC rather than a generic escort. Blizzard’s public framing echoes the same beat: players will face Kith’ix alongside Lady Liadrin in a focused one-boss raid encounter that brings the escalating threat of the campaign to a decisive confrontation, gathering allies for a battle that caps the story of Quel’thalas and Zul’Aman.

Tier 10 Progression and the Rest of 12.1.5’s Payload

Beyond the maps themselves, dataminers have also flagged how Kindo’jan will scale over time. Achievement text pulled from the PTR points to a tier ladder running up to ten, with one entry tied to completing “3 chambers of Kindo’jan’s Labyrinth on Tier 10” that unlocks Tier 10 delves in Midnight Season 2, suggesting Labyrinth and Delve progression will share a track. Blizzard has flagged that data as PTR-only for now, subject to change before launch.

Patch 12.1.5, titled The Promise of Tomorrow, also carries two systems outside the raid and Labyrinth: Aqir Invasions and Ascendant Venomstones. Blizzard Watch reported the invasion structure in detail, noting that champions will complete a series of public events across Eversong or Zul’Aman for ten minutes every hour before facing an intense boss fight, whether fending off aerial assaults or rallying ground defenders, with Icy Veins adding that each invasion runs six scenario types with eight possible affixes to battle before the ten-minute window closes.

Ascendant Venomstones round out the gear track for players already sitting on upgraded Season 2 items. Blizzard has not published a launch date for 12.1.5. The PTR is live now on build 69594, the same build that leaked the Kindo’jan and Kith’ix map directories in the first place.
